As a health-care provider I have often struggled to find a simple way to organize patient information that I needed to refer to later. This helped me envision SimpLog. For health-care trainees, the app lets you quickly store information such as procedures while on the fly. Then, when you have time, you can access the app for a clean organized list for updating your formal procedure logs. For all health-care providers, the app lets you quickly store patient call back information. Then, when you have the chance, you can call back patients through the app, to reconcile pending lab-work or to just check up on their condition.
Is Simplog Secure? :Yes
On first start, a username and password field is presented. The password can be any length, however, obviously, the more complex the password the better. The password is encrypted. This means that the password is never directly stored on the device. The password is mashed-up and pulverized into something unrecognizable. Furthermore, the application does not run in the background. This means that if you veer away from Simplog, you will be prompted to re-enter your credentials. In addition, Simplog makes use of Apple's iOS Data Protection API. An additional layer of security that is activated when users passcode protect their device.
